Sheffield stabbing: South Yorkshire Police charge man, 48, with attempted murder after 14-year-old boy injured
A 48-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a teenager was stabbed in Sheffield city centre.
The 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries to his chest following the incident, which police believe took place near Sheffield’s Town Hall on Tuesday.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
South Yorkshire Police said John Jubb, 48, was arrested on Friday and charged with attempted murder on Saturday.
He is due to appear before Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 18 September.
Jubb, of Sheffield, will remain in custody until the court appearance.
